Intercept Networks, a joint venture between Primary Wave Media and TeleSmart Networks has partnered with TechnoCom (News - Alert) Corporation to improve Intelligent NumbersSM with cloud-based location services and two-way messaging.
TechnoCom Location Platform enables businesses and developers to deploy location-aware mobility solutions.
With the help of TechnoCom Location Platform, Intelligent Numbers can recognize and automate the routing of mobile and landline calls. By prompting the caller with an IVR-based options menu, callers can voluntarily opt to receive SMS texts and hyperlinks by providing a mobile 10-digit telephone number to receive preferred communication to their mobile device.
“TechnoCom is pleased to collaborate with Intercept Networks to provide our best-in-class enterprise location services to complement Intelligent Numbers” said Mario Proietti, CEO of TechnoCom. “TechnoCom Location Platform's cross-carrier, device-independent availability and comprehensive web services APIs enhance mobile marketing programs without the costly and time-consuming deployment and maintenance of handset applications. Our platform provides enterprises with flexibility, cost savings and time-to-market advantage.”
For toll-free telephone numbers, Intercept Networks' Intelligent NumbersSM is a voice2sms marketing platform. The numbers create a single, mobile entry point for marketers to deliver multi-platform content to a highly engaged and receptive consumer, by combining dynamic IVR technology and a proprietary SMS short code messaging platform. By adding location intelligence, TechnoCom's network-initiated, Web services platform makes location content available for any device type: mobile or landline.
In July 2010, the company joined with Canada's communications company Bell Mobility to assist the public safety initiative in Canada and facilitate wireless location accuracy for enhanced 911.
