EMA Buys Majority Interest in Language Access Network

Emergent Medical Associates (EMA) announced that it has finalized the
purchase of a majority interest in Language Access Network.

LAN provides on-demand language interpretation services through video
and audio conferencing in hospitals and other health care venues
nationwide directly addressing the challenges facing these institutions
and their Limited English Proficient and deaf or hard of hearing
patient populations. LAN will continue to be managed as an independent
entity.

According to a release, EMA's acquisition of LAN puts the resources of
one of California's emergency medical group's behind the Company as
well as the Group's expertise in developing products tailored to the
demands of health care environments.
