Stay-Linked and Janam Join Forces in Rugged Gun-Shaped Mobile Computer Market
(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) TUSTIN, CA, January 13 / MARKET WIRE/ --
Stay-Linked Corporation, the industry leader in
host-based, thin-client wireless terminal emulation/session management and
device management, today announced that Janam Technologies LLC, a provider
of rugged mobile computers that scan barcodes and communicate wirelessly,
will certify and brand its newly-announced XG100 Series rugged, gun-shaped,
mobile computer, as well as their other mobile devices, as "Stay-Linked
Ready(TM)."
By participating in the Stay-Linked Ready(TM) program, Janam's XG100 Series
devices will ship from the factory with the thin-client component of the
Stay-Linked software solution pre-loaded. When connected to Stay-Linked
server software (included with the purchase of user licenses), Janam XG100
users will enjoy the full range of productivity-enhancing benefits that
Stay-Linked's unique award-winning thin-client design provides.
With Stay-Linked, wireless terminal and mobile device users connecting to
5250/3270, VT100/220 and SSHv2 host systems experience the highest level of
performance, connection/session reliability and data security when compared
to all other products available today. Centralized IT/Help Desk staff
benefit from the included Stay-Linked Administrator GUI Console application
that provides total visibility and control of all Stay-Linked thin-client
connected terminal user sessions, wireless terminals/mobile devices, and
configuration settings.
"We are very pleased to offer a Stay-Linked Ready(TM) solution with our
devices -- especially the new XG100 Series," said Harry B. Lerner, CEO of
Janam. "The combination of Stay-Linked's powerful thin-client architecture
with Janam's user-optimized rugged gun product will give our customers
unprecedented remote access to 5250, 3270 and VT host-based screen
applications that are mission-critical to their operations, all at a price
point they cannot ignore."
"Janam represents fresh thinking in the rugged mobile computing space, and
the new XG100 Series clearly comes from a team that understands the
critical needs of today's customer," said David Griffith, President of
Stay-Linked. "We are excited by how easy and cost-effective it will be for
customers to replace legacy hardware and software solutions with all of the
Stay-Linked Ready(TM) mobile computers from Janam."
The XG100 Series from Janam is available for beta testing immediately and
scheduled for full release to production at the end of Q1.

About Stay-Linked Corporation
Stay-Linked Corporation began developing Stay-Linked software, The New
Standard(TM) for managing wireless terminal emulation sessions and devices,
in 2001. Built from the ground up for the wireless world, Stay-Linked
debuted in 2002 as the first thin-client terminal emulation solution -- a
marked deviation from existing device-side technologies that evolved from
the wired terminal model. Utilizing the proprietary Client2Host(TM)
architecture, Stay-Linked was the first host-based thin-client terminal
emulator; the first to provide true software-only session persistence; the
first to provide a GUI Administrator console for emulation configuration
and session control; and is still the only emulator with Advanced Terminal
Session Management (ATSM).
