Cedar Point Communications partners with NetCologne

Apr 09, 2009 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Cedar Point Communications, Inc. has partnered with NetCologne Gesellschaft fur Telekommunikation mbH to offer enhanced XDSL services to subscribers by using their DSL (digital subscriber lines) and FTTB (fiber network to the building) infrastructure.

Cedar Point Communications is a US-based provider of integrated packet-based voice and multimedia switching technologies, while NetCologne is a Germany-based telecommunications company.

In order to provide VoIP to residential customers, SIP, a technology for IMS networks, will be used. The SAFARI C3 Multimedia Switching System from Cedar Point has already been deployed by NetCologne for SIP-based voice services. SAFARI C3 is a simple, cost-effective, and reliable system to provide stable voice services to customers.
