Sep 07, 2010 (News & Record - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) --
WINSTON-SALEM -- Police say the same man is responsible for two incidents at a local drugstore over the past two weeks.
On Aug. 22, Winston-Salem police said a man entered the Rite Aid at 3601 Reynolda Road and presented a note demanding narcotics. The note indicated that the man had a weapon, but the suspect never displayed one.
The man left in a white, compact car driven by someone else. Police did not say if the man got any drugs.
At 11:14 a.m. Monday, the man returned to the drugstore and again demanded narcotics. Police said the man did not get any drugs. He drove off in a white, compact car.
No injuries were reported in either incident.
Police described the suspect in both incidents as a 30-year-old white man with a thin build who stands about 6 feet, 3 inches. In the Monday incident, he wore round-rimmed glasses, khaki pants and a long-sleeved T-shirt with green sleeves and orange in front.
Anyone with information about these incidents can call police at 773-7700 or Crimestoppers at 727-2800.
