ClearEdge Power and Güssing Renewable Energy to Present at HANNOVER MESSE 2012

ClearEdge Power, a manufacturer of scalable, continuous onsite power systems, today announced that it is exhibiting and presenting with Güssing Renewable Energy GmbH, a provider of carbon-neutral energy solutions, at HANNOVER MESSE, the world's largest industrial fair. With eight international flagship fairs, including Energy, the world's largest tradeshow dedicated to renewable and conventional power generation, power supply, transmission, distribution and storage, HANNOVER MESSE showcases ground-breaking innovations and takes place at the Hannover Fairgrounds in Hannover, Germany from April 23-27, 2012.

To share details on their European market entry and demonstrate how their combined solutions can help communities deliver clean, reliable energy, ClearEdge Power and Güssing Renewable Energy are hosting a press conference as part of the hydrogen fuel cell group exhibit within the Energy fair. During the press conference, ClearEdge Power and Güssing Renewable Energy will also present details on how the two companies are working together over the next 3 years to produce 8.5 megawatts (MW) of clean distributed energy generation from fuel cells in the Republic of Austria. This initial project is expected to be the first phase of a larger partnership between the two companies.

Alongside the press conference, ClearEdge Power CTO Zakiul Kabir will host a technical forum to explain the technology behind the ClearEdge system, a 5 kW scalable fuel cell that uses a high temperature proton exchange membrane (HT PEM). In a separate forum, ClearEdge Power's President and CEO, Russell Ford, will give a public forum presentation that provides an overview of ClearEdge Power's fuel cell systems and their benefits. The presentation will detail how the innovative systems can be successfully deployed in commercial environments to efficiently deliver localized, predictable and clean energy.
