Wells Fargo Insurance Services Names Garry Edwards Executive Broker for Real Estate, Property and Energy
SAN FRANCISCO --(Business Wire)--
Wells Fargo (News - Alert) Insurance - part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:
WFC) - has named Garry Edwards executive broker for its Real Estate,
Property and Energy practices in the Bay Area. In his role, he will
focus on large property risks, real estate, traditional and alternative
energy, and power distribution industries. Based in San Carlos, Edwards
will report to Brian McDonnell, senior vice president and managing
director of Wells Fargo Insurance's Construction and Real Estate
Services.

Throughout his career, Edwards specialized in property insurance
placements for customers in the power and utility industry as well as
the construction, real estate, retail and technology fields. Prior to
joining Wells Fargo, he was managing director at Beecher Carlson,
overseeing wet coast property and energy practices. His career began at
Lloyd's of London as an insurance broker concentrating on North American
accounts.
Edwards received the 2005 Lloyd's of London U.S. Surplus Lines Broker of
the Year Award and was recognized by Risk & Insurance magazine
as a 2007 Power Broker. He attended City & East London College in London
studying economics, holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM (News - Alert))
Designation and is a member of the Power Association of Northern
California.
