Clontech Selects, Endorses SnapGene Software

GSL Biotech announced today that Clontech Laboratories Inc. has selected the company's flagship software product, SnapGene™, as a solution for cloning simulation and plasmid map drawing. Clontech researchers participated in SnapGene beta testing and provided feedback to SnapGene's developers on the interface and functionality, including SnapGene's unique ability to simulate Clontech's In-Fusion cloning. Andrew Farmer, Vice President of Research and Development at Clontech, said, "Our research scientists embraced SnapGene because of its beautiful and intuitive interface. We are now able to clone more accurately and efficiently."

In-Fusion cloning is a revolutionary method for creating seamless gene fusions. As demonstrated in a brief video, SnapGene makes it trivially easy to design In-Fusion procedures. Farmer stated, "I am pleased to recommend this software as the ideal partner for our In-Fusion cloning kits."
