CINCINNATI --(Business Wire)--
Phoenix
data center services provider CyrusOne, a wholly owned subsidiary of

CyrusOne specializes in highly reliable enterprise data
center colocation, engineering facilities with the highest power
redundancy (2N architecture) and power-density infrastructure
required to deliver excellent availability.
A recent addition to the Arizona technology community, CyrusOne
purchased a 57-acre parcel of land in Chandler, Ariz., broke ground, and
erected the steel skeleton of its 1-million-square-foot "Massively
Modular" Phoenix data center during the last year. Phase One is
planned for completion by year-end, with the data center expected to
become the largest of its kind in the country with 110 megawatts of
power capacity delivered from a sustation to be built on the property.
"The Council is an important part of the CyrusOne professional
ecosystem," said Scott Brueggeman, CMO, CyrusOne. "They are singularly
focused on helping their member companies succeed through multiple
initiatives including advocating for a tech-friendly business climate in
Arizona. When we were considering membership organizations, AZTC emerged
as a leading business partner-tech or otherwise."
The AZTC serves Arizona's diverse and thriving technology sectors,
including semiconductor/electronics, aerospace/defense, information
technology/data centers/software, telecommunications, optics/astronomy,
alternative energy, and health/medical. As a member of the Council,
CyrusOne receives numerous advocacy benefits and is granted access to as
many as 150 events a year where members educate peers about trending
topics and issues such as the cloud. In addition, high-profile Council
events such as the annual Governor's Celebration of Technology
Innovation and the Business + IT Expo and CIO of the Year Awards have
become known as the place to meet technology decision makers in Arizona.
"Adding CyrusOne to our membership and sponsorship roster has shined a
spotlight on Arizona's leadership in the data center space," said Steven
G. Zylstra, president and CEO, Arizona Technology Council. "The
Massively Modular enterprise-class facility the company is building in
Chandler will be the largest and most energy-efficient multi-tenant data
center in the Southwest. When coupled with the generally disaster-free
topography Arizona is known for, the facility is naturally capturing the
attention of Fortune 1000 companies throughout the West looking to
locate their mission-critical data here."
In addition to its new data center in Phoenix/Chandler, Arizona,
CyrusOne has designed and operated 23 data
center facilities across the United States, Europe, and Asia and is
renowned for exemplary service to customers, which include more than 100
