eTERA Consulting Announces Appointment of Yin Lu as Vice President, Global Head of eDiscovery Consulting Division

In his capacity, Mr. Lu will be responsible for advising corporate and law firm clients and directing consulting teams on matters pertaining to document collection, processing, review, hosting, production and leading technologies. Mr. Lu is widely recognized for his proven ability to manage and consult on eDiscovery and data management projects regardless of size, scope, duration and location.

Prior to joining eTERA Consulting, Mr. Lu served as Director in the Technology Consulting practice at FTI Consulting. As a member of the management team, he helped grow the FTI Consulting Technology practice from 50 employees to over 400 in 6 years, while managing over 80 complex eDiscovery matters in various venues including the United States, United Kingdom and Brazil. Mr. Lu was instrumental in expanding FTI's service capabilities in London and Sao Paulo, and introducing leading litigation technology into the Brazil legal marketplace.
Mr. Lu holds a M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University, with concentrations in network telecommunications engineering and wireless and mobile communications. Mr. Lu also holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Kettering University (formerly GMI), with a minor in business management. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and member of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Mr. Lu is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
