Health System Executives Appointed to Premier Healthcare Alliance Member Quality and Value Improvement Committees
CHARLOTTE, N.C. --(Business Wire)--
Twelve health system executives have been appointed to two Premier
healthcare alliance stockholder committees working to improve the
quality and value of care delivery. The Member Quality Improvement
Committee (MQIC) and Member Value Improvement Committee (MVIC) serve in
an advisory capacity to Premier's board
of directors.
"Committee members play vital roles in setting direction for the
alliance by providing expertise and informed decision-making that helps
improve healthcare across America," said Mike Alkire, Premier chief

Selected by Premier's board of directors as new members of the MQIC are:

Eric Bieber, MD, chief medical officer, University Hospitals,
Cleveland;

William Downey, president and CEO, Riverside Health System, Newport

Randall Kelley, president and CEO, CaroMont Health, Gastonia, N.C.;

Mark Laney, MD, president and CEO, Heartland Health, St. Joseph, Mo.;

Stephen Moore, MD, senior vice president and chief medical officer,
Catholic Health Initiatives, Englewood, Colo.

Memorial Healthcare System, Hollywood, Fla.
