Access Technology says it chose Center 7 for its global eCommerce logistical systems because of Center 7’s ability to meet customers’ requirements. Center 7’s facilities included latest innovations in power, cooling and bandwidth redundancy, Access officials said.
“For us to be successful, our U.S. and international customers must have complete confidence that they’ll have access to our purchasing, shipping and logistical systems around-the-clock,” said Chris Boyle, president and chief executive officer of Access Technology.
Center 7, with multiple data centers in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, provides colocation, managed hosting, business continuance, and network business offerings for small, mid-, and enterprise-level businesses.
Boyle’s company provides technology solutions for international logistics for U.S. direct sales and eCommerce companies expanding overseas. The company operates through a global services group, and its services include shipping, Internet purchasing and market entry services.
Access, one of the largest shippers of personal parcels to Asia, is also a premier logistics and international expansion partner for direct sales and network marketing companies offering logistics to worldwide destinations.
There is a huge potential in the eCommerce market outside the U.S. With more than two thirds of the market residing outside the U.S., retailers cannot afford to ignore the international retail opportunities. Access provides the necessary services in dealing with international currencies, overseas shipping and payment systems. These services, according to the company, simplify merchants’ task of doing business in the global arena.
According to Nathan Hatch, president and chief executive officer of Center 7, the company is “excited” to help Access deliver a premier online international marketplace.
“The continued expansion we’ve experienced with data center customers of all types demonstrates our ability to handle diverse data protection, storage and access requirements,” Hatch said. “Our team of industry professionals and our ongoing attention to detail are helping our customers to be more efficient and profitable.”
