Headquartered in Israel, MTI Wireless Edge develops, produces and markets flat panel antennas for RFID fixed wireless applications. This includes 90 models of linear and  circular antennas, in single and dual polarity editions, for active and passive RFID systems.

The antennas are made for frequencies of 450MHz, 865-870MHz, 902-928MHz, 950-956MHz, and 2.4GHz. They are also available for the Integrated Enclosure Antenna solution (IAE).

A variety of broadband, tactical and specialized communications antennas, antenna systems and DF arrays installed on a number of airborne, ground and naval (including submarine) platforms worldwide, cover the entire range of MTI Military Products.

The new MT-242043 antenna is the first of the company’s 1ft (9 dBic) family. This comes soon after the completion of the ½ ft (7.5 dBic) 1dB axial ratio family of three antennas for FCC (News - Alert), ETSI & Japanese UHF frequency ranges.

The MT-242043 covers the 902-928 MHz bandwidths, has both right hand and left hand adaptations, and is a 9 dBic (305 x 305 mm), lightweight (1.5Kg) antenna. Similar antennas specifically planned to meet the needs of the European (865-870 MHz) and Japanese (950-956) UHF frequencies are slated to follow suit.

Dov Feiner (News - Alert) CEO & President, MTI Wireless Edge Ltd, said, “"This antenna provides the ideal solution for a wide variety of RFID applications such as Portals, Gate control, Conveyer Belts and we expect it to become one of the best selling antennas in the RFID industry.”

According to Feiner, the new product only strengthens MTI’s top position in the RFID Antenna Market. It not only is designed to suit customers’ high performance RFID systems needs, but also reflects the company’s dedication to this specific market.
