GoIP Global, a technology provider and developer of value added service (VAS) solutions, announced the beta launch of CancerTXT, a text messaging service.
CancerTXT enables cancer patients and family members to access basic real time information and references. By paying just $4.95 monthly membership fee, consumers can join CancerTXT and can send unlimited text questions over their cell phones and receive an immediate response from a trained social worker.
"This new mobile messaging service will change the way patients and family members can access essential information,” said Moshe Gluzman, GoIP's Health Director.
Initial market studies estimate that nearly 100,000 members will register nationwide by the end of 2009.
Gluzman explained that customers have to simply text a question to CancerTXT and a response or support information will be immediately received.
Headquartered in New York, GoIP Global’s product line includes; GoIP smsNOW service targeted for enterprises and affinity groups and is designed to enable consumers to interact with the advertiser.
