Ekahau with high-end X Series 3G mobile phones in order to offer safety functionality to their app suite.

The X Series 3G mobile is stated to extend several of the core applications and uses of the broadband internet to the mobile handset.

Alert) mobile can be easily pinpointed with this new system eliminating the need for additional antennae, readers or chokepoints to be installed. It is very convenient to implement the system in even crowd public places.
According to officials, the two-way communication assures that the accurate location of the person carrying the handset will be reported and possible assistance can be sent to the right location rapidly. They claim that overall management of personal and property can be done very effectively in a cost effective way.
“Integrating Ekahau with our application suite and the X series handsets was easy and straightforward as their system offers an open API (application programmer’s interface),” said Yuuichi Watanabe, Deputy Manager Solution Department in Mobile SE Management at SOFTBANK TELECOM. “Our customers have been pleased that we now can offer this secure tracking solution to them in our application suite. This enhances personal safety for the employees and customers alike.”
