Giving it one of the highest security levels of any London data center, the site is also equipped with mutli -level security and is patrolled 24/7, the company stated in a press release.
“We’re experiencing an ever growing demand for space within London’s Docklands, so we are pleased to be able to offer our customers an increased presence within this renowned data center,” Matt Hawkins, managing director of C4L, commented. “This is a particularly important site as we work with a number of companies for whom low latency is critical. Being in Docklands is therefore extremely beneficial for these companies, which was one of the main reasons behind us taking this space.”
Offering latency levels amongst the lowest of any UK data center, the facility’s Docklands location provides customers with first-rate connectivity. Connected to over 35 data centers across the UK and the Netherlands, the Harbour Exchange 8 & 9 facility is also part of the C4L multiple 10 Gigabit network. The benefits provided include high speed IP Transit, Interconnects to all other major UK data centers, high volume Data Backup and more.
Recently, the company debuted three new services at an exhibition held at London’s Olympia venue. C4L featured a variety of new services during the event, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Virtual Dedicated Servers (VDS) and Data Centre Migration. These new next generation solutions enable C4L to provide cloud-based services alongside their more traditional data center based services.
