The Spanish National Energy Commission has awarded a contract to Telvent, the premier real-time IT solutions and information provider for a sustainable world, to provide vital technical support for the authority's institutional IT systems.
As both the CNE IT infrastructure and the number of users grow significantly, Telvent will help guarantee top performance of the systems and 24/7 availability.
The CNE, the regulatory body for the energy market in Spain, selected global support services of Telvent to fortify its own Systems Division resources that are witnessing increased management and administrative workload due to significant systems growth.
In a press release, Ignacio Gonzalez, Chairman and CEO of Telvent, said: "We are very pleased to offer our experience in managing and operating IT systems to a vital organization such as the Spanish National Energy Commission and support its continuous efficiency of operation as internal IT systems experience increasing demands."
Through proactive and vigilant evaluations as well as first-priority attention to user requests, incident reports and events resolution, Telvent will help maintain high performance of the CNE systems.
