ECOtality Announces Paul Gordon's Appointment as CTO



ECOtality Inc. has announced the appointment of Paul Gordon as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer. Prior to joining ECOtality, Gordon was working with Trilliant (News - Alert) Networks.

In a release, Murray Jones, Chief Operating Officer at ECOtality Inc., said, "Paul Gordon comes to ECOtality with extensive smart grid and customer facing integrated systems experience. Paul has a proven track record of implementing cost effective technology architectures. His background further enables ECOtality to expand its leadership position as the EV industry continues to grow."

As the Vice President of Engineering at Trilliant Networks, Gordon was responsible for the growth, design and execution of the SecureMesh product portfolio. Gordon has also worked at SkyPilot Networks, Terawave (News - Alert) Communications, Pacific Broadband Communications and COM21 before joining Trilliant Networks.

Gordon was also the President and CEO at SkyPilot Networks, which offers carrier-class broadband wireless products to for service providers, municipalities, and public safety agencies. Gordon has also led the product development teams. He obtained his engineering degree, a B. Eng in Electronic Engineering, from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom. Gordon has been awarded three technology patents and has two patents to his name currently pending.

ECOtality Inc provides environment-friendly transportation of electricity. The company also deals in storage technologies. ECOtality aims to address global energy challenges of the world by identifying new, innovative ways for generating power, while maintaining equilibrium with the natural environment. The use of advanced electric technologies to replace carbon-based fuels is encouraged by the company with the help of innovation, acquirements, and premeditated collaborations.
