A Top 10 US Utility Chooses SUBNET PowerSYSTEM Center and SubSTATION Server Data Gateway Solutions



A large North American utility has awarded SUBNET Solutions with a significant contract for a secure substation gateway project.

SUBNET Solutions Inc. is a premier utility industry provider of secure, real time data acquisition, automation and cyber security solutions. The company, in partnership with World Wide Technology, Inc., a market-leading systems integrator, will implement its latest PowerSYSTEM Center and SubSTATION Server data gateway solutions.

The utility, with the help of SUBNET's PowerSYSTEM Center, will be able to manage a diverse array of multi-vendor intelligent electronic devices. It will also be able to offer three core functions: system wide IED configuration change management, IED access control security and IED password management security.

For its flagship product, SUBNET uses Microsoft (News - Alert) SharePoint 2010 as the core technology. With this combined solution, utilities are provided with a world class workflow collaboration environment to manage substations, equipment, and devices.
