China Intelligence Information Systems, Inc., a provider of virtualization technology application and cloud computing related consulting service, products, solutions and implementation service in the People’s Republic of China, has announced that it has entered into agreements with three subsidiaries of China Southern Power Grid Company Limited, a well known electricity provider in the nation of China. Total value of these agreements is around $1.5 million.
A 2011 Fortune Global 500 company, China Southern Power leverages its six wholly-owned subsidiaries and more than 300,000 employees to ensure electric supply around 230 million people in China, constituting around 17.8 percent of all the energy consumers in the nation.
Deploying the integrated datacenter virtualization, disaster tolerance and backup solution developed especially by China Intelligence for the organization, China Southern Power will be able to leverage its hardware in an enhanced manner and cut down operating and maintenance costs in comparison to its existing IT infrastructure.
The solutions offered by China Intelligence enable its customers to deploy their IT resources in a flexible way. Additionally, the company provides its clients with cloud computing platforms that play a vital role in cutting down the IT costs and increasing computing speed up considerably.
“China Southern Power is a well respected and established corporation in China. We have successfully worked with the China Southern Power previously and are pleased that we have continued our working relationship together,” commented Kunwu Li, president and chief executive officer at China Intelligence Information Systems, Inc. “The revenue of $1.5 million is expected to increase to approximately $3 million in 2012. We look forward to continuing our successful relationship together and further enhance our existing reputation in providing virtualization and cloud computing related services and solutions and the position as the preferred provider in China Southern Power Grid system,” added Li.
In August 2011, China Intelligence Information Systems, Inc. announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jinan Yinquan Technology Co., Ltd. had signed a full virtualization project agreement with Shandong Pengxiang Automobile. The total value of the contract was $290,000.
